he Cottonwood Colts were back in action Tuesday night looking to bounce back from their loss Friday to Olympus, trying to get their first win of the season against the Pirates Malik Johnson sparked Cottonwood scoring the first 5 points helping his team gain an early advantage, only to have Cyprus tie the game at 5 moments later. Cyprus took their first lead of the game 7-5, and the lead would continue to change hands for the rest of the quarter with the Pirates holding a one point lead 19-18 after one period. Cyprus came out hot to start the second quarter extending their lead to 5 23-18, the Colts fought back cutting the lead to 3 late in the half.
